AN INTEGRATED FOOD SYSTEM

Design for a crew’s real operating conditions.

Fresh, Ferment, Reserve combines mission-selected crops, instrumented culture cassettes that turn part of the harvest into familiar foods, and a protected Earth-loaded reserve for biological variability, utility curtailment, and rejected batches.

Fresh

Grow for the mission with crop choices that respect limited mass, time, and resources.

Ferment

Turn part of the harvest into familiar, flexible foods that fit everyday operations.

Reserve

Protect an option when biology or utilities do not behave as planned.
