About Cislune
Cislune develops machines and software for lunar excavation, robotics, and resource recovery. Based in Southern California, the team combines mechanical design, fabrication, electronics, controls, materials testing, and field operations. Its work includes PERDEX icy-regolith excavation, wheel-terrain testing, regolith processing, SimMoon mission rehearsal, and resilient space-food infrastructure. Cislune has received 16 NASA contracts and nine NASA competition awards since 2021, including the 2026 LunaRecycle Challenge Highest Mass Efficiency Prize for its CRAFTER recycling system and second place in NASA’s Mars to Table challenge.
